It looks at you.It blinks. It falls asleep if you forget it.
A small dog that sits by your keyboard. It doesn't talk, doesn't ring, doesn't ask for anything. It simply looks up when you are there, and nods off when you are not.

awake
Pet it with your cursor. Ignore it for thirty seconds, and see what happens.
A day with it
It doesn't replay the same loop. Depending on the hour, on what you are doing, and sometimes on nothing at all, its mood shifts. Here are the six you will see most.
-
Awake
Its eyes never settle. They drift away, come back, drift again. It is the look of someone listening to you without saying a word.
-
Blink
It blinks when you are not expecting it, never twice on the same beat. That small offbeat is what will pull your eyes off your screen.
-
Happy
Rest a finger on its head. Its eyes squeeze shut, its light turns green, and it stays that way for a few seconds. That is all, and it is enough.
-
Startled
Sometimes it jumps when nothing has happened. That is how it reminds you it is not sitting at the end of a button.
-
Dozing off
You go out for lunch. Its eyelids come down slowly and its light turns blue. You will find it asleep, and it will do something to you.
-
Waking up
One finger is enough. It opens its eyes, its light flashes once, and it picks the day up where it left it.
It has no camera and no microphone.
It looks at you without seeing you.
Most objects that “follow your gaze” have a glass eye somewhere, and what they see ends up elsewhere. This one has nothing to watch you with, and nothing to hear you with. Its gaze comes from itself, not from you. Put it in an office, in a child's room, behind you during a video call: it will never have anything to tell anyone.
What it will learn
It already knows how to live with nothing. These three things come afterwards, as an update, with nothing for you to buy again.
-
Watching the sky
It will set its own clock and follow the weather where you live. Playful in the sun, quieter in the rain.
-
Petting it from afar
From your phone, in another room or another city. One button, and the same effect as a hand on its head.
-
Looking up
When your phone buzzes, it will notice before you do.
These three things are not here yet. We announce them anyway, so you know what you are buying: the object as it is today, at today's price.

Common questions
Does it need an internet connection?
No. Plug it in and it lives. The internet is only for the three things described above, once they arrive.
Does it make any noise?
Never. It has no voice. The only thing that changes in a room is its light.
Can it stay on all day?
That is what it is for. It nods off on its own when you leave it be, and it waits for you.
Is it a children's toy?
It is made for an adult's desk. The cable and the small parts make it unsuitable for children under three.
What if something breaks?
Nothing inside is glued. It all comes apart with a screwdriver, and we will walk you through it. This object is built to outlast its warranty.
Will it get new expressions?
Yes. They arrive with updates, and there is nothing for you to buy again.
